ABOUT

I hold a 2:1 class honour in Fine Art from Goldsmiths University and I am currently undertaking a master's degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in the same subject where I am specialising in sculpture and drawing. My work deals with the universality of imagery, from cartoons and our childhoods, and how this creates a feeling of nostalgia juxtaposed with elements of the abject, humour and on occasion the voyeuristic. This usually takes life as paper mache sculptures, pen drawings or instillation work.

I also undertook a PGCE in Secondary Art and Design in 2019 and gained my qualified teacher status last summer. I am a true believer in providing young people with the tools to think independently whilst being critical of what matters most, to solve problems creatively and with commitment and drive and to enable young people to utilise the latter in a way that can lead to future selfcare and confidence in the arts.
